SECRETS OF GOOD SOLDERING

QUALITIES OF GOOD SOLDERING USING VERO             BOARD

  1. A good soldering must be very neat to avoid lashing.
  2. There should be no lashing of the lead on the pin or legs of the components that is soldered.
  3. Cut out the remaining pin or leg of the component after soldering to maintain good job.
  4. The component to be soldered should rest firmly on the vero board before soldering.
  5. The bit of the soldering iron should be mechanically brushed to remove stains which causes bad soldering work.

WORKING WITH THE VERO BOARD:

  1. All components must rest firmly on the vero board
  2. Scraping should only be done where necessary otherwise the vero board may be damaged
  3. All jumper wires should be on the same side with the components unless otherwise where necessary.
Do not allow  the lashes of the soldered lead to cross the demarcation lines that separate the series connection of the vero board, though ut can be done where is it part of the connections.
